The team really cares for the kids they work with. Jan is absolutely wonderful and invested in providing the best services for her clients. Valentina (Val) is so engaging with my son. Jan and Val make his sessions fun and playful that he looks forward to each one saying “play games with Val!” with excitement each time! My family and I have noticed a vast improvement with his attention and speech since he started his speech services here in just a few months. Our pediatrician recommended MMTA and we’re so grateful she did. Our son has made huge strides in just over a year and is now chatting away nonstop. But it’s not just about getting him to speak. MMTA is also working on all of the implicit communication skills that don’t come as easily (eye contact, asking follow up questions, etc). Best of all, he loves coming in to see Ms. Alex every week! We love it! The sessions are extremely productive, and we’ve had the same speech therapist the entire time. MMTA therapists are definitely experts in working with kiddos on the spectrum, especially the social communication piece, and tailor the goals to my daughter’s individual needs.
